I'm sorry. :-) Let's hope for a better day.

Ok, one thing I found out after totaling my truck 4 years ago was that the insurance will come back and tell you that your car is worth X amount of money.

They're low balling you. Get quotes from Kelly Blue Book and a few other sites for the actual cost to replace your car. Call the insurance company back and negotiate a better price.

Best of luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720082365917440106.post-29085835985316461922008-01-17T17:14:00.000-06:002008-01-17T17:14:00.000-06:00Amy - Thank you. Though $7,000 (and the rest) for a hunk of metal that saved your SIL's life when it mattered is a bargain.

Don't dwell on things you can't do anything about. Way to go!

I would like to introduce myself. I am a new WAHM and am excited to begin networking with moms and grandmothers who are juggling the many roles they have in life just as I am. I had a 15 year career as an accountant for a publicly traded company and I missed out on so many of the precious moments in the lives of my boys. In August of ’07 I finally took the step of faith and left my full-time employment so that I could have the time, energy, and flexibility to focus on the needs of my tween (age 12) and 1st grader (age 6).
I have built a website which focuses on the essentials of family living, hence the name ~ www.essentialfamilyliving.com. One of my favorite topics of discussion is Family Fun Night and I have dedicated much of my blog space to this subject.
I would love for you to view my site and blog then comment with any suggestions, advice, or encouragement. Thank you for the consideration.

Blessing on your day!Amy Stronghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17694796522089886406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720082365917440106.post-90051275450850792232008-01-17T13:46:00.000-06:002008-01-17T13:46:00.000-06:00Tracy and Brandie - Thank you :-) I needed those!Tracy and Brandie - Thank you :-) I needed those!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720082365917440106.post-34728626265694206162008-01-17T13:33:00.000-06:002008-01-17T13:33:00.000-06:00((hugs)) I am so sorry, but oh, thank goodness you...((hugs)) I am so sorry, but oh, thank goodness your sil is okay!
