The Final Countdown...

Today is the last day of November.

Do you know what that means? That means that you officially have :

You should have been prepared. I warned you that day. I told you it was coming and now there is no running, no hiding and no excuses.

If you spent your time Harumphing (I actually had to go check how to spell that word. LMAO) or you spent your time wishing people would just play nice or if you started decorating and learning how to create a new kind of life. No matter what how you've gotten over the past few weeks, it is officially the time to be jolly, blow money on gifts, get fat on Christmas cookies, be okay with that, and sing Christmas carols out of key.

The joy of Christmas has arrived :-) And I'm excited. I'm exhausted. I'm listening to Christmas music 24/7.

I wrote this Guide to The perfect gift last year, but still love it so I'm going to repost it :-) I hope you enjoy it.

Now relax, grab a yummy Starbuck's Peppermint Mocha and fa la la la la your way through the next 25 days :-D

I almost bought my Stollen cake today - There's a trade-off between my not wanting to get anything too early (i.e. more than a couple of weeks in advance), and there still being Stollen cake in the supermarket.

I did buy a Christmas film last weekend - it was on special offer - if you spent over £20, you could buy one of 4 Christmas films for half price. So I got it (Miracle on 34th Street with Maureen O'Hara) to save for nearer the time, but Helena had watched it before I'd even woken up the next morning ;-) She recommends it, by the way...

Oh, I did like your gift page, but the links are broken - I really wanted to see those USB heated gloves!

I'm totally ready. I haven't bought any gifts yet and I still don't know what I'm going to buy the hubby. But now I'm prepared to get prepared.
THANKS FOR FREAKING ME THE FRIP OUT!

Brian - What is a stollen cake? I am very interested as all things cakey tend to interest me.

That is one of my favorite Maureen O'hara movies. The Quiet Man and McLintock are my others. Not Christmas movies but oh so worth the watch. (Plus they are John Wayne's. Total Bonus!) As for the links being broke, I will check again. I have checked the coding about 50 times and can't figure out what their issues is. LOL.

Bee - It was one helluva Ice Storm! We had a Christmas Party in DeKalb and went out for drinks with friends after. Lights kept going on and off and finally stayed off so we spent 25 min. sitting, in total dark, in a bar. It was fun! LOL.

Tracy - No problemo ;-) As my LLT I know you need a strong motivation just as I do :-D xoxo

Tiff - My oven is broke so no Christmas baking for me :-( I do accept cookies by mail though! LOL.

Jenny - :-D Thank you! I want a set to make for the kids schools. 3rd graders are so squeamish ;-) LOL.

Jesse- I have yet to buy a single present.NOT.ONE. I'm freaking out. Okay, sort of freaking out. If you would like to come shop for me I'll share some of Tiff's cookies with you!!
