Really Cool Winter Pics!




The Midwest has had a horrible freezing winter this past year. My great Aunt sent this pics to the family and I thought I would share them with you. It may look like Antarctica but it's really Michigan!

Michigan has had the coldest winter in decades. Water expands to freeze, and at Macinaw City the water in Lake Huron below the surface ice was supercooled. It expanded to break through the surface ice and froze into this incredible wave.

Wow! That is totally cool looking! (Funny how I sometimes sound like I'm in Junior High despite being 36 years old. Anyhooo...it IS totally cool!)
