**Updated** Anyone From The Florida Area, Please Help!

*************Update*************

I first want to say thank you to all those who showed their support and sent their good wishes. You're thoughts and prayers meant so much to us.

Joe has been located and his family and Molls spoke to him yesterday.
He is physically okay. I am still unsure as to all the details and happenings of the past few weeks, but I do know that he is safe. His father is on his way to Fl. right now to pick him up.

Again, thank you to all those who showed support.

If anyone who read this blog is from (or knows someone from) Florida, specifically the Boynton Beach area, then I am asking you for help.

Sunday, Molly (my best friend), was told that one of our mutual friends has gone missing from the Boynton Beach area. His name is Joe Hardee and he was last seen on May 23rd. No one has seen or heard from his since. His voice mail box is full and also has not been checked since the 23rd.

His father was able to contact Cingular and they confirmed the last activity on the phone was the 23rd, but would not give him any more information or the last number called. According to Florida law, because he is not a minor and there is no reason to suspect any foul play or criminal activity (besides the fact that he, his dog and work truck have simply vanished), his father is not allowed to file a missing persons report.

I am asking you to take a look at this picture and pass a link to this post along to anyone you know from the area. Thank you so much for your help! We are all very very worried!

Name: Joseph Hardee (a.k.a : Joe or Joe Joe)
Age: 29
Last Seen: Boynton Beach, Fl
Also Missing: Draven; 6 yr. old, Pure bred, Brindle Pit Bull
Hometown: Marseilles, IL

****************UPDATE****************

5/30/07 - We found out today that someone saw him sleeping in his work truck on Thursday.
He was in the Hispanic district of the neighborhood, disoriented, crying, and confused.
Also, his cell phone has apparently been turned on, as it is now ringing and not going straight to voice mail. This is not much, still leaves a lot of questions, and he is still missing, but this is at least a glimmer of hope.

OMG Chris, how scary! What a handsome young man he is! I hope he's just gone on his own and nothing bad has happened to him. Sending prayers...Sassy xo

Sassy - Thank you very much. It is very scary. It's really not in his personality to just 'disappear' and that's why everyone is confused and worried.

I used to be really close to Joe a couple of years ago. Over the last 5 years or so we kind of lost contact. I was devasted to here that Joe was missing. My first instint was I was thinking the worst. I am so glad that he is safe and sound. I will be able to sleep better at night now knowing that my friend is going to be ok.
