Wanted: Creative Juices

The past few weeks I've been on a 'creative juice' roll. I would go to post or do some other project and the ideas and plans just sprung up with no problem. Suddenly in the middle of last week that seemed to come to a screeching halt.

I'm not sure if my brain just overloaded in general or if it just shut down due to all the stuff going on around here, but I want it back. I need it back.

I have decided to start college this fall and am also looking to pursue my dreams of writing. Both of these goals require creativity, obviously.

So I want to ask for your help! I want you to post an idea, topic, or a few lines of dialog or story, that you'd like to see me write about. On Friday I will pick one (or you can tell me which is your favorite of the suggested) and on Monday I will post about it :)

Be as creative, funny, serious or whatever that you can! The more unique and interesting the more fun this will be :-D

Let's find out if I really do have any skills ;-)

"How nice--to feel nothing, and still get full credit for being alive" it's from Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. I just finished reading it. I saw the quote somewhere else before I read the book and after reading it in context, it stuck with me.

I read your blog everyday. It's the only one I read. I think you're very talented and I cannot wait to see what you come up with in the future. Good luck with everything! Much love to your family from mine!

Hi Chris, so there's a blog I read and sometimes contribute to, it's called The Synchronicity of Indeterminacy and what he does is post a picture and have people come up with stories or captions for the picture. You'd be surprised how many ideas or stories people come up with. You should check it out.

Here is my idea for you.
How about a story about a little girl’s first plane trip. My niece has interesting stories about the sounds a plane makes and how it actually flies… :o)

I like nonfiction myself and stories about ourselves are cheap and if you are part of MY family - well the proverbial well NEVEr runs dry - so how about this....

1. Most embarrassing moment ever - yours or someone else's
or
2. The thing that makes you laugh until you almost pee
or
3. like an Oprah list of some sort (Favorite places to visit, favorite foods, etc)

Can't wait to read.

Hmmm... This is tough... I dunno... tell us about your most embarrassing moment in junior high, or what's in your junk drawer...

Sometimes I just wait for the kids to say something funny.. or stupid.. and take it from there.

Lol, Yeah. What is in your Junk Drawer that would be an Epic Tale, lol. Historians of the future would treat it like Homer's Odessa they could spend a lifetime dissecting it and maybe find the meaning of life and the universe, I swear its in there between the rubber bands and tape. Lol, J/k Love Ya babe.

Ah you should write about ME. Why? Because it's all about ME. Hahahaa. I'm totally kidding of course. And congrats on going to college! Wanna have a college party and get all licquored up? I don't drink but you might need a driver, and I do drive, so I can drive you if you get so drunk that you know, you can't drive. Are you in?
